According to precolonial Andean and Mesoamerican perspectives, lightning was an element that connected different realms: the skies, the earth, and the underworld. It was a deity with the same importance as the sun and the moon.

With this in mind, we created Aire Incandescente/ Glødende Luft, an installation that leads the audience into a transit through three different ambiances. A sort of syncretic landscape intertwining information from diverse Latin American cosmogonies, Norse mythology, scientific facts, and our own symbolism resulting in a re-mastered story of lightning.
